Loading ...Considering the majority of what is accessed online is in English, there has been so much talk about the large population who is unable to access the web due to the language barrier. While there have been isolated attempts at the developing Urdu for the web, a young, dynamic team developed a website called PakTranslations.com , which is a machine translation engine which translates English to Urdu for you. Zeeshan Ahmed and Muhammad Mubashar Shoaib have developed and updated several iterations of their service, with the ability to handle more languages and dialects. @Jehan: Are you really really thinking about the Urdu version of “In the Line of Wire”? because we will be sending you an update about the widget we’re developing
@talha: you have a point, but, it is the responsibility of those who know English and Urdu, to introduce Urdu internet to the 65 million, so how about an Urdu version of “lazy man blog”?
@Jehan: you don’t need Roman Urdu (transliteration) at all, because as such you don’t Urdu at all
… the tooltips that appear upon hovering mouse on the Urdu text also shows Roman Urdu though
And yeah, like the soundtrack of this webcast (the one which is played at the start and in the end)

There are 65 Million people in Pakistan, who are literate, but cannot understand english, and hence can’t understand this podcast too and know what great service they are missing
