1 – Two American chemists announce the discovery of artificial sweetener ‘saccharin’ today in 1879. It is used to sweeten products such as drinks, candies, medicines, and toothpaste.
2 - This day in 1883, Oscar Hammerstein patents 1st cigar-rolling machine.
3 – Felix Hoffman patented acetyl salicylic acid – aspirin on 27th Feb, 1900.
4 - On 27th Feb 1981, Boeing 747 commercial airliner flied with the greatest passenger load of 610.
5 – On 27th, Feb, 2006 – Facebook is opened to the public.
