1 - On 7th, March, 1765 – Joseph Nicéphore Niépce, French inventor of photography was born.

2 – This day in 1876 – Alexander Graham Bell is granted a patent for telephone.

3 – On 7th, March, 2003 – Canadian Dot com company Zucotto Wireless ceases operations.

4 - On 7th, March, 2005 – The first superconducting dipole magnet for the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) was set up at the CERN lab, near Geneva. Physicists hope to recreate the conditions that followed just after the big bang using the LHC.
