Computer industry witnesses 50 percent decrease in business: The computer industry has witnessed over 50 percent decrease in its retail/vendors business, following recent terrorist attacks in various parts of the country, says latest computer sector data issued. The Pakistan Computer Association (PCA) recently, convened a meeting here to discuss the negative implications of the current law and order situation on the computer business.
Yousaf Jamal, Senior Vice President of PCA called upon the government to take all possible measures and equip security apparatus with better technology, equipment and tools to forestall such incidents effectively and control the law and order situation so that normal business activities in the country may be revived.

Oracle Certified Advantage Partner, Ora-Tech Systems, which will augment bank’s customer service in Pakistan for Oracle Infrastructure. Chief operating officer Barclays Bank, Kamal Akbar said, “With growing competition in Pakistani banking industry, coupled with diverse customer demands”.
