Samsung launches Solar Crest mobile phone: Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd, a global leader in mobile handsets has launched Solar Crest mobile phone, the first of its kind which charges its battery by solar cells and gives 2 hours talk-time if its solar cells are exposed to light rays for 12 hours. ZONG introduces unique value added service: ZONG, the first international brand of China Mobile introduces a unique service which allows subscribers to send SMS from their mobile phones to email addresses and emails to mobile numbers, which will be delivered as a SMS on the mobile phone.
This new service offers great convenience in terms of usage. To send an sms to an email address, customers need to go to the sms menu of their mobile, then simply go to the Write Message option, write EMAIL <Email Address> <Message> and send it to ‘Send SMS’ and send this sms to 987. When subscribers want to send an email to a mobile number, they will compose the email and in the recipient’s address, type <mobile number@zongsms.pk>.
