Nokia to cut 450 jobs worldwide: Nokia, the world’s leading mobile phone maker, said Tuesday it planned to cut some 450 jobs globally as it reorganizes its services unit. Many of these changes will also help Nokia to realize cost-efficiencies in a number of areas and will thus streamline operations in many of its Services entities, “the statement noted. Nokia has said that it would provide more opportunities for third party developers and other partners to “create compelling services” for users.
