ZONG offers scholarship for engineering students: ZONG has launched a scholarship program to fund the students annually for higher studies in Computer Sciences, Engineering and Sciences. In this regard, Zong – the first international brand of China Mobile, has signed a Memorandum of Understating (MoU) with the University of Engineering and Technology (UET). The ZONG Scholarship Program will enable talented, and deserving young people to acquire quality higher education from renowned educational institutions in the country. ZONG intends to provide scholarships in the above-mentioned disciplines, to cover various educational expenses like registration fees, tuition, laboratory fees, internship fees, study materials, accommodation costs and others.

Contract between IBA and ORACLE: Institute of Business Administration (IBA) and Oracle Academy decided to start an advanced program in computer science, this agreement is signed on Monday 25th may 09. According to this program the Software and other related subjects will be included in the Graduate and Undergraduate programs of IBA. “This is going to be beneficial for our students and they could get more knowledge and experience while using Oracle’s Software” said Dr. Ishrat hussain, Director IBA. Oracle’s regional director Samina Rizwan said that we are very glade to sign this agreement with IBA.

Ghani Global Group has set up Pakistan’s Largest Air Separation plant: Ghani Global Group has set up Pakistan’s Largest Air Separation plant near Bhayi Phairo Lahore, this plant has started working this week. Initially Oxygen, Nitrogen, and Organ gases are being made and supplied to Hospitals, Steel mils, Oil and Gas companies, Pharmaceuticals and other industrial institutions. The company has also formed a strong distribution network with the help of specialized agents and experts. The machinery for this plant has been imported from Europe,  America and China. Ghani Global has a plan to set up a gas plant in Karachi as well.
