We have our Host. Host loves Nokia. Nokia makes great phones. As a result, Host loves Nokia Phones… or so you’d think! The Nokia office in Pakistan sent us the Nokia E75 and 5130 Xpress Music to run reviews on the WebStudio! Hooray!! And though BOTH the phones are absolutely AWESOME, what does our Host have to say?
Will Biryani Blogger make a come back? Will other Nokia fans take jabs at the Host? Tune in and find out!

@Farhan:
I agree 100% the BB is cheaper. infact, there is a BB Pearl variation that goes for about 13k(ish) however, its sad to look at, in terms of functionality it gets its butt kicked, and in terms of actual Benefits, its little more than a status symbol.
For a minute lets forget the e71/75, even the e63i can kick the BB’s butt with its eyes closed. Mind you, I’m not a Nokia fan, Sony Ericsson FTW, but a good phone is a good phone, and the e75 is much, much, MUCH better than the value provided by the BB (bold)
Besides, personally,
BB = Old man, wanting to look young, Young man trying to trying to look like he’s doing something.
e75 = Cool ageless people.
Host = Coolest(est) of them all.
@HOST:
I’m your greatest, bestest(est) fan ever … “Will you be my frandship?”
@farhan – *laffs.. Deeg = desi digg?
@ Rabia , I never said BBB is better value for money , I only said’s BB are also on cheaper side and BBB is better compared with E71 and yes E75 is way cooler than BBB.
I don’t think so that you are cheap for using a e61i should I call you aficionado of classic phones , I still have my E61 and Nokia 8900i with me
I like the spirit of Madam Phool , as i said , she gets knocked down , she gets up again nothing is gonna keep her down .
She can have the T-shirt , why don’t you get her one with Biryani Deeg on it
@Farhan aka Biryani Bhai!
Wow! Now this was obviously a comment you didn’t type up on your phone!
Second, just for the record, I actually like the E61i despite the fact it is larger than the palm of my hand and I have to yell into it just for anyone to hear me, but some of us are just old fashioned (or cheap!)
I actually disagree with you on the fact that the BBB is better value for money than the Nokia E75… I don’t think that’s true.. On aesthetics alone, this device is wayyyy cooler! Thanks for the other details on the apps and features – I don’t think Host was looking to cover the interface because Hands On will probably look into that at some point and go into more details since that is more geared towards apps..
Oh I don’t think any amount of bashing is going to get Host down! She shall be on the show because well, she’s funny!
And fine! No T-shirt for you!
now the anti spam is elmo – I love Sesame Street
First love the anti-spam word ” Kermit The Frog ” Rabia did you set it up
and where is the t-shirt
Coming to the Fool for the Cool Tool ( the reviewer ), who are you afraid of , say whatever you like who is stopping you , it’s good to hear another point of view and many a times you sound too sarcastic
Loved to see Rabia’s E61i but it has gone old , change it
For E75 , you say you will not go into specs and still you talked about specs and the bashing begins.
I agree the phone being cool and good looking but it’s not E for Executive it’s E for ‘Enterprise ‘ just Google it .
Try using the phone , it sure is a workhorse but upto a limit with only 50mb user memory I managed to kill it by taking phone memory down to ZERO bytes
http://senseapplied.com/index.php/e-75-messaging-review/
The phone does feature Series 60 and it’s the FP 2 version
for camera comparison , it’s a bit lower than Carl Zeiss duh! but much better then E71′s blue tint
your phone came with 1GB memory card , check again mine came with 2 GB did some one con you out of a GB
and please Madam Phool that 3 letter keypad is called Alpha numeric keypad
you said there are no changes in the menu , agreed , almost all are same but with FP2 , transitions are added and icons have been changed btw can you find the ‘Settings’ menu it’s been renamed to CTRL Panel
coming to the dictionary option , this is not the first phone to feature it , my e71 has it and you can get it for Rabia’s phone too
You tube works pretty well change from Telenor EDGE to a better connection say WARID or WiFI and it will work
How come you say the set is cheaper than Black Berry , have you check out BB rates they start from 17,500 and go all the way to 45,000 , hmm you can compare it with BB Bold rates but still BBB is better comparable with E71
End of E75 bashing let’s start with 5130 Xpress music
It’s not an average phone , it’s S40 V6 , an advance version of OS which runs Java and Flash Lite 3 check out the transitions could be price wise it’s average for you , but feature wise it’s above average .
The phone does not feature speakers but only one , uno , eek Akela Aklota speaker and it does not sound like the singer is in your hands , hmm how big of hands you got any way the speaker cannot produce Bass and if you put it on a table you have to keep it face down ( mess up the screen and acrylic keypad ) to have the singer sing in front of you
The headphones provided with it are not good but are any generic ones provided with phones except iPhone , change the headphones put in iPhone ones or your iPod Touch ones and enjoy the music
The phone does make videos at 176 X 144 resolution , very low but suitable for MMS and you can set the options for it to run down the 1GB card provided
btw , the video was good , I like the zoom and pan Happy Birthday to Madam Phool ,
Rabia you can give her my t-shirt and please please get a new phone you are running a CTF thing and using E61i think about it
Don’t let this bashing put you down , as Chuwamba says ” I got knocked down , I get up again , you never gonna keep me down ” listen to it and get inspired
I think I have made enough Biryani of your brain
There is no phone but iPhone, and Apple alone is the coolest phone maker.
haha, that came out as a “I m pissed off at everyone” review…
Good one… for both handsets, though I prefer a larger screen. Anyhow, a BlackBerry handset isn’t as dynamic or as flexible in terms of applications and accessibility. Having used it, I had to give it back. I can easily use Push Email (that’s what BlackBerry’s are usually used for) on a regular unlimited internet service on my phone… works great.
As for the song, I love that song too
