CIO WebStudio Gets Nominated for WSIS Award!
Posted on: May 21, 2009In our hustle to create fresh content on a daily basis, here’s one piece of news we simply forgot to share with all of you! The CIO WebStudio received its nomination for the World Summit Award Global Contest as the best e-Content example in e-Science & Technology from Pakistan.
The acknowledgment has been a great source of inspiration and encouragement for us, and the only we can express our excitement is to keep producing and serving content that truly represents the diverse local ICT industry. A heartfelt thank you to all those who regularly stop by the CIO Pakistan WebStudio to keep us alive and kicking, along with each of the people who frequently stop by to watch and interact with the hosts and guests.
As far as we’re concerned, all of us are winners for putting in so much effort to accurately represent the talent, skill and diversity that our industries have. Thank you.

Rabia, does this mean you will finally start paying your talented anchors and giving them dressing rooms and other perks?
Heartiest congratulations. You guys are doing a terrific job. We all appreciate it.

Congrats to the CIO team, best of luck for winning the award and may you get many more! But I think it is the the Hosts and the industry itself that this award acknowledges, cuz if the industry wouldn’t have had such phenominal achievements then the team wouldn’t have anything to write about.
p.s. I think this qualifies the CIO team to do an “In Your Face” dance to the conventional media which claim there is no content in the ICT industry.

@Jehan_Ara Gasp!! What? Me? Threaten? Well yes… the blooper reel cannot (CAN NOT) do without your gracious endorsement and patronage!
@Xs - Yes! I agree! It’s the people - it’s always the quality of the people that makes any content generation possible. As for the dance.. err.. methinks not, though perhaps we can do a sing-song? “Ol’ McDonald Had a Farm - C I, CIO!”

BTW, all the credit goes to the volunteer efforts of M’am Jehan Ara!
@RG if not to pay something, at least a wonderful dressing room and dressing staff like the conventional studios is a MUST!
Congrats ya all!
