You can air the performance, but perhaps not live. At least not until there is enough of a culture for performers to actually feel the need to be webcast to an even LARGER audience.. But perhaps once the performance has finished, they can put it up in an aggregate location and plug in some advertising for it to continue raise funds. But more than even that, since we have creative film producers coming out of ears, why can't one performance be used to extract all sorts of content which supports the main theater act.. Get the director to do a 'directors cut' or the lights guys to come and talk about how lighting was such a challenge for this and why...
