Today is 15th June, 09 and here’s what happened today in tech…
1 – 0763 BC- Assyrians recorded total solar eclipse event on a clay tablet. Going ahead on
2 – 1844 Charles Goodyear received a patent for his process to strengthen rubber. The process is called vulcanization.
3 – 1869 Celluloid was patented by John Wesley Hyatt, Albany, New York.
4 – 1878 the first attempt at motion pictures (used 12 cameras, each taking 1 picture) was done by Eadweard Muybridge photographing a horse named “Occident” using a series of 12 stereoscopic cameras to see if all 4 of a horse’s hooves leave the ground.
