1 – In 1931 the first photoelectric cell was installed commercially in West Haven Connecticut.

2 – 1947 the first plane (F-80) exceeded 600 mph (1004 kph)-in Albert Boyd, California.

3 - 1981 Boeing commercial Chinook 2-rotor helicopter was certified.
European Space Agency’s Ariane carried 2 satellites into orbit.
And, India’s APPLE satellite was launched.
