Today is 22nd June, 09 and here’s what happened today in tech…
1 - In 1832 John Howe the patent for the pin manufacturing machine.
2 – In 1910 1st Zeppelin with passengers sat afloat.
3 - In 1915 BMT, then Brooklyn Rapid Transit, began its subway service.
4 - In 1973 Skylab 2′s astronauts, splashed down in the Pacific Ocean after their journey in space.
5 -In 1978 U.S. astronomer James W. Christy discovered that the planet Pluto has a moon more than half its diameter, which he named as Charon.
6 – In 1983 1st time a satellite is retrieved from orbit, by Space Shuttle.
