SAP System Officers call for better working conditions: The Pakistan Economy Watch (PEW) said that largest oil retailer of Pakistan PSO should provide better working conditions to SAP System Officers. They should be treated at par with other employees of matching qualification and should be appointed on permanent basis so that they can serve with some peace of mind. This was stated by President PEW.
He said that so far SAP is the most effective business application software but those who are operating it are deprived of basic facilities like medical cover, leaves, bonus, pension and promotion. SAP officials said that they were appointed as contract employees against salary of 9000 with an annual raise of around 900 with is less than any permanent worker of the organisation. Diploma holders are being paid two to three times more.
