Punjab government plans wireless internet facility at public parks, libraries: The Punjab government chalked out a plan for introducing the facility of wireless Internet for the masses. The government set aside Rs 5 crore during the current fiscal year, for the purpose, in the Punjab. Official sources told that under the plan, the facility of wireless Internet would be ensured in public libraries and public parks. Initially, the Internet facility would be introduced in major towns, including Sialkot, and later, the sphere would be expanded to other districts of the Punjab.
