I think in your interview you have very effectively highlighted the CDC’s business model where technology has played the lead role and have done wonders for Pakistani Capital Market. Another important aspect you have highlighted is the IT savvy Management which I believe is the key of CDC Success.
Selection of words is very good, delivery is also good and expressions are OK. One thing in my opinion needs to be highlighted in more detail is Software Engineering because in whole IT, application software is the most difficult animal to handle and this is also the face of CDC towards customers. Sharing of CDC’s experience could be beneficial for the audience.
My dear Asif Shah,
It was indeed a a pleasure to see your detailed interview at CIO Web Studio. I found it very informative, truely reflective of CDC’s achievements and services rendered by CDC to the capital market of Pakistan. You have very rightly touched on the diversification in CDC’s business in the form Registrar and Trustee & Custodial Services.I believe one of the earliest diversifications in CDC’s business was introduction of Investpor Account Services. This service not only became an instant recognition of CDC but practically boosted the confidence of Investors who were in a dire need of an efficient and a transparent retail account related services. The Investor Account Services of CDC also played an important role in the privatization program of Govt. of Pakistan. The IAS Department of CDC has also been playing an positive role in channelising the investments of overseas Pakistanis and other foreign entities who are keen to invest in Pakistan.
Best regards,
