1 - In 1966 – 1st lunar orbiter launched by US .

2 – In 1966 – Daylight meteor seen from Utah to Canada. Only known case of a meteor entering Earth’s atmosphere & leaving it again 1990 – The Magellan space probe reaches Venus.

3 - In 1992 – Satellite TOPEX/Poseidon launched.

4 – In 2003 – Yuri Malenchenko becomes the first person to marry in space.

5 – In 2006 – Scotland Yard disrupts major terrorist plot to destroy aircraft traveling from the United Kingdom to the United States. All toiletries are banned from commercial airplanes.
