True!!!
when facebook is there no one can work! not atleast me!!
Facebook is a really great thing! or great INVENTION i must say! but as ure asking about facebook at workplace i dont think thats a good idea coz it diverts mind!
Are people allowed to check personal email in the workplace? How about websites for news, or sports? What about checking their favorite blog?
Facebook is just another form of media on the internet. I think businesses should have clear policies for whether and how their employees can spend personal time on the internet during the work day. The policy should address not only that the time spent must be limited so that it does not interfere with getting work done, but also what types of communications are not appropriate.
Certainly it is important to make employees aware of the need to not represent themselves online as speaking for the company unless social media is a part of their job responsibility.
It depends how one is using it. Are people using it to promote businesses or using it for some other activities. 66.8% of internet users are using social networks and 65.1% are using emails. It can and many are using it to promote their businesses worldwide.
And if an average person in office is spending 20 minutes on facebook, I think its no harm
It should be allowed in the work place…
