Descon Engineering Limited and SAP has announced that they have entered into an agreement through SAP’s reseller Sidat Hyder Morshed Associates, to deploy SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and SAP Industry Specific Solution for Engineering, Construction and Operations (EC&O). SAP EC&O is a comprehensive software solution that provides an integrated Enterprise Business Application platform and powerful functionality to manage all aspects of engineering, construction and operations business.
Descon Engineering Limited plans to improve its Financial, Supply Chain, Asset Management, Human Capital Management, Project Management and Manufacturing processes through the implementation of SAP ERP and EC&O.

Punjab govt shelves two PU IT projects: Setting aside the approved PC1s, the Punjab government has shelved the two vital IT projects of Punjab University, an IT Park and multipurpose block at the new campus of Punjab University College of Information Technology. The projects were conceived to establish linkages for a holistic approach to develop both the industry and IT education in the country.
