1 – In 1931.  The 1st synthetic rubber was manufactured commercially.
2 - In 1953. the 1st live color coast-to-coast telecast from New York City.
3 – In 1957. USSR launched Sputnik 2 with a dog (Laika) th 1st animal in orbit.
4 – In 1993. Atlantis 13 was launched.
