a very good effort indeed by every one to create awareness among the people, that there is some thing else important then NRO and sugar price..
@rabiagarib yes that is what it stands for. Silly name isn’t it? Yes yes we were happy to see you. No event is complete without you
@Jehan Ara, Oh! Is that what it stands for?
As they say, better late than never!
@iFaqeer quite right. The thing is that Madam showed up late. When I started I introduced everyone and said quite clearly that it was the “Prevention of Electronic Crime Ordinance”. Zahid also gave a 10 minute intro to the Ordinance explaining what the highlights were. Let me see if I have on the footage that I had recorded. I will put it up. Although @rabia did mention it in her intro, you are right that we should be clear in our statements.
BTW the good news is that the Prime Minister has finally heard all the voices that were being raised and has said that he will send the Ordinance back to the committee and for public feedback.
Hey there – I said it in my Voice Over – Pakistan Electronic Crimes Ordinance”… Should should be in the first minute..
Okay, I am almost two minutes in and no one’s spelled out what “PECO” stand for…
[Oh, and the speaker calls it "legislation"...isn't it an ordinance?]
