So far, we’ve talked about Marketing Analytics and the challenge every company has to make the most out of the least possible resources. Sam, short for Sameerah, talks about what the next step is in creating your marketing strategy.

Hi Salma, I’m so glad to find a beliver of Analytics in you!! Most people think its crazy to think about analytis unless they have Terabytes of data!
I LOVED your site and think its there at a very opportune time, I haven’t had a chance to go through it all, but as soon as I post this, I’m checking it out!
So glad you found our sessions interesting, but just remember, the fine print reads that if you use any of the information and strike it rich – you have to buy us a boat!!
hey guys
Haven’t had the time lately to indulge in discourse but have been following the last few episodes. Your episodes are just so relevant to what I’m doing. I was actually working on my website, which btw is up finally(!!!) and I was busy adding customizations, content and yes you guessed it – analytics(!), although a very simple and small version in the form of Google Analytics. So now I know exactly where all of my 2 visitors are coming from. haha, ok, jokes aside, I’ve been doing some social media and forum marketing and its gratifying to see that so far my highest day traffic has been 70+ unique visitors which I thought was great for a completely new website.
So now I have to somehow make sense of this data, understand where my customers are coming from, which pages they’re staying on the longest, etc etc. Admittedly I don’t have a huge lot of content up yet, but whatever there is, is relevant to a specific market – freelancers worldwide and esp in Pak who don’t understand how to monetize their online time but are willing to learn.
Thanks again Sameerah for the relevant and timely advice and Rabia for the ummmm hilarious lower thirds
(joking!). Oh if you want to check out the site you can at http://www.wordpl.net
I’m open to hearing any advice & criticisms
Salma.
