Scandal surfaces in IT and Telecom Ministry: The I.T and Telecom Ministry has given the tender of billions of rupees for a project to its favorite Chinese company, Z.T.E., without considering proper rules and regulations; despite of interests shown by several Chinese companies. The project, initiated with the collaboration of the National Telecommunication Commission and Z.T.E, is estimated to cost Rs 13 billion and is focused on connecting the police stations, intelligence agencies and various government departments with each other. The Prime Minister of Pakistan has approved the project and the summary has now been sent to the Central Development Working Party for approval, which will probably be approved soon.

IPL Matches to be Live on YouTube: Last year, YouTube had created an official video channel where the match highlights, opening ceremony, and award functions were shown but it was not able to show live streaming despite of technology available. Therefore, Google has tied up with IPL (Indian Premier League) for live streaming of matches on YouTube for an undisclosed sum.. This initiative is expected to be a huge hit among the cricket-deprived people across the globe because live streaming is usually in paid format abroad and cable television is expensive too.
