HP is well positioned to take advantage of this growth with its portfolio of thin and light notebooks that address both businesses and consumers’ computing needs, he opined.
Chua Hwee Koon, vice president, Mobile Business Unit, Personal Systems Group, HP Asia Pacific and Japan said that “HP pioneered the ‘thin and light’ category with the introduction of the HP ENVY 133 notebook in June 2008, which was followed by the ‘affordable thin and light’ HP Pavilion dv2 notebook introduced at CES 2009,”.
