Government committed to promote ICT: Prime Minister’s Advisor on IT & Telecom, Sardar Muhammad Latif Khan Khosa on Tuesday said that the government is committed to promote Information Communication Technologies (ICT) in Pakistan through skilled manpower.
Addressing participants of the inaugural ceremony of Pakistan Telecommunication Authority’s (PTA) special programme for promotion of Information Communication Technologies (ICT) in Pakistan, he said that the government will continue providing necessary support to the industry and academia.
“Following the global technological development and applications promotion, ICT is playing an important role in development of the society. We have a close co-operation among operators, equipment manufacturers, content providers and academia,” Khosa added.While lauding the efforts of PTA towards proliferation of ICT in Pakistan, he said that massive growth of telecommunication services is an eye-opener and it is firmly believed that there is still room for expansion and growth. New ICT applications have generated new forms of consumption and attracted large number of consumers.
On the occasion, Secretary IT & Telecom said that our ICT industry has transformed over the last decade. In response to transparent policy and regulatory apparatus, our market has observed liberalisation, greater private sector participation and competition.

Fly By is developed by Web Sketchers, a team of individuals who graduated from FAST-NU Lahore in 2009.
The game is visually spectacular, rich in colors, and encompasses eye-catching 3D modeling.
The basic theme of the game is the flight of an aircraft through the city centre. The aircraft is flying low, and has to evade the numerous skyscrapers and hot air balloons that encroach in its path. The player has to maneuver the aircraft through these obstacles. As the player progresses, points are earned and newer levels of play are attained during game play.
Web Sketchers say they are going to add more features in coming days, based on users’ feedback.Web Sketchers also intends to launch a number of new and exciting games in the near future under the umbrella of brand “Wesga”.
